Can you give a brief intro on who you are and what you do?
WØRKS is a creative consultancy founded in 2018. We are a diverse group of like-minded creative pro­fes­sion­als dedicated to the process of cultural advancement through inter­dis­ci­pli­nary design.


Where are you based and how does that affect your work?
We’re based in New York City. The city moves and inspires us everyday. We believe it to be the cultural epicenter of the world.


What style do you most identify with?
We’re less interested in a particular style and more interested in elevating every project we work on. Regardless of medium or industry, we strive to bring a level of thought, consideration and strategy to everything we do.


Who are your biggest influences?
The name WØRKS is actually an ode to the ode to the Deutscher Werkbund, a German association of artists, architects, designers and indus­tri­al­ists established in 1907. The Werkbund was the precursor so the Bauhaus, and we take great influence from their multi-disciplinary approach. Additional to that, we’re heavily inspired by the past century of fashion aesthetics and photography, and are interested in deconstructing and injecting that level of beauty into our projects.


What motivates you to create?
We’re interested in being more than just purveyors of culture, we want to help create it. In doing so, we draw inspiration from the communities all around us and the new ways we are all finding to express ourselves.
